Jon Memolo guitar/vocals

Jon hails from New York City where he began his career playing such notable places as CBGB's, Max's Kansas City, and Rockbottoms in the legendary punk band, Broadway Turk Superstar and the Spoiler. Throughout the 80's, Jon played in numerous acts including the Suits, the Sharks, the Duvalls and the Dillons. Continuing throughout the 90's, Jon recorded and toured with original acts Mama Troll and Apple.

In the last 10 years, Jon has toured the United States fronting the garage rock band Watts as well as recording at Abbey Road Studios with his bands the Dissonics and 28if. Jon's guitar playing blends blues and rock and pop sensibilities with skill and energy seldom seen from his contemporaries. His vocals bring an authentic and powerful edge to contemporary and classic rock styles, making him a perfect fit for Magic Bus.
